Professional Logo Digitizing for Embroidery
A digital image cannot simply be sent to an embroidery machine. It must be translated into carefully planned stitches. Hot Threadz prepares artwork for attractive, durable embroidery.

What Is Embroidery Digitizing?
Digitizing is the process of converting artwork into instructions an embroidery machine can follow. The digitizer chooses stitch types, directions, densities, underlay and sequencing based on the design and the material being embroidered.
Good digitizing helps lettering remain legible, reduces unnecessary bulk, controls distortion and creates smooth coverage. A file prepared for a flat polo may also need adjustments before it works well on a curved cap or heavy jacket.
Artwork We Can Review
Send the clearest version of your logo or design available. Vector artwork is helpful, but high-quality PNG, JPG or other common formats can often be evaluated. We will let you know when details need to be simplified or redrawn.
Digitizing Considers
- Finished embroidery size
- Garment fabric and structure
- Letter height and readability
- Stitch type and direction
- Underlay and density
- Color sequence
- Hat versus flat embroidery
